The Role: What You’ll Do
As the VP of Customer Success, you will:
Set and execute the vision for exceptional customer service, build toward “Carrier of the Year” recognition for new and existing accounts.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team across associates, managers, and a director, grow high-potential accounts and evolve mature ones.
Drive strategic initiatives in automation, systems, and process improvement, working closely with IT/development to deliver efficiencies.
Collaborate with sales and operations to onboard, service, and expand customer relationships.
Champion continuous improvement in SOPs, KPIs, and cross-department alignment.
Candidate Profile: What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Proven leadership in customer service within logistics / transportation
Demonstrated success in customer growth, retention, and service awards
Experience hiring, coaching, and managing teams of 25+ people
Strong skills in SOP/KPI development and process improvement
Familiarity with systems such as AS/400, Mcleod, Manhattan (Hemispheres, Load Analyzer)
Strategic, analytical, persuasive, and energetic communicator
Preferred / Plus:
Experience with process automation
Deep understanding of freight, brokerage divisions, logistics operations
History of winning service or “carrier of the year” accolades
Comfortable with long-term planning and organizational transformation
